Upcoming Walking Football Event

Walking Football is a low-impact, modified version of the game suitable for females and males of all ages and abilities. So whether you are 15 or 75, a former professional or a total novice, this is 100% the game for you!

Walking Football provides an opportunity for you to improve your physical fitness, to make new friends and catch up with old friends, to improve your mental health and - most importantly - to enjoy the game you love in a welcoming and respectful environment.

The rules of are the same as regular outdoor football but with a few key differences -

1) running is not allowed (hopefully you worked that out already )

2) physical contact with opponents is not permitted

3) the ball must remain below head height

4) teams are small-sided (5-8 players)

If you're interested in joining in at Ashfield Reserve, games are played every Monday evening from 6:30-8:00pm. You don't need to join as a team - just rock up by yourself or with a mate and join in.

Introductory sessions are FREE. After that its $10 per game or $200 annually, the choice is yours.
